Macbeth Script
Heres the script for the video:

Lennox – Stuart Ross – ZackThis scene takes place at a Military Camp. This scene is important because in this scene, we find out how courageous Macbeth really is, and this is the s cene that Macbeth is awarded the title ‘ Thane of Cawdor’.

Act 1, Scene 2You can hear trumpets and soldiers fighting offstage. KING DUNCAN, his sons MALCOLM and DONALBAIN, LENNOX and some other attendants enter. They all meet a wounded and bloody captain. DUNCANWho is this bloody man? From his appearance, I bet he has the latest news on the battle.
MALCOLMThis is the brave sergeant who fought to save my life. Hail brave friend. Tell the king what you saw before leaving the battle.
CAPTAINFor a while, it was not visible who was going to come out a winner. It was like two exhausted swimmers clinging together while struggling in the water. There was an army of soldiers from Ireland and the Hebrides around the villain Macdonwald. Fortune was with him that day, simling cruelly at everyone as if it were his who. However, luck was not enough for Macdonwald. Brave Macbeth laughed at Macdonwald’s fortune, and killed him before he say farewell, and stuck his head on the castles walls.
DUNCANOh my brave cousin! What a worthy gentlemen you are!
CAPTAINBut at the same time the storms always approach when spring arrives, our victory against Macdonwald purposed many problems for us. Hear me out, when the Irish went running for cover the Norwegians saw a chance to take advantage of us with their full army and brand new weapons.
DUNCANDid this not impose terror among our two captains, Macbeth and Banquo?
CAPTAINNot at all, they took this attack as a personal challange. They fought twice as hard as they did against the Irish. It was as if they wanted to take a bath in enemy blood and make their victory infamous. I now feel weak and my injuries need to be healed immediately.
DUNCANWhat you said is honourable, give him our best surgeons.
The Captain exits accompanied by his attendants.Ross and Angus enter.
DUNCANWho goes there?
MALCOLMThis, my King, is the honourable Thane of Ross.
LENNOXHis eyes seem to be shocked. He looks to have an unusual story to tell.
ROSSGod save the king!
DUNCANThane of Ross, where do you hail from?
ROSSI have ventured from Fife kine, where the Norwegian flag is hung high, taunting our country and making fun of our people. Lead and assisted by the traitor, thane of Cawdor, a massive army began a battle with the king of Norway. Macbeth arrived, wearing his weathered armour; he met the Norwegians head on head, like a warrior prince. In the end, he shattered the spirits of the Norwegians and was victorious.
DUNCANThat is great news! I am ever so happy.
ROSSNow that he has been defeated, Sweno the Norwegian king wants to sign a treaty. Our armies will not even let him bury his men without him leaving to Saint Colme’s Inch, and giving us ten thousand dollars.
DUNCANThe Thane of Cawdor will never again betray me, send men to have him executed and tell macbeth that he is now the thane of Cawdor.
ROSSIt will be done immediately.
DUNCANWhat Macbeth has now gained, the thane of Cawdor has now lost.
They all exit.

Week 3
Week 3, we didn’t do much. Mr.Murray was gone for 3 days this week, so during these days, all we hade to do was read Macbeth. He gave us study questions for Act 1, and Act 2, and we sat in class and read the two acts the whole class. The two days that he was here, he explained the history of Macbeth, the history of Henry 4, 5,6 ,7, and 8th, and how Shakespeare came to write Macbeth. We also learned that Macbeth was in fact a real person, and lived amoung Henry 8th. It was an alright week, but I wish we didn’t have so many study questions, and he was here for more than just 2 days of the week.
Week 2
Week 2 was all about essays. We learnt the form of essay that, if done right, will gurantee a 75% or better. We also learned a few tricks of how to make our essay take up more space than it actually should, like using 12.5 font instead of 12, making the margines slightly smaller, and using a different font, one that looks similar to Times New Roman, but yet adds a few more lines to your essay. We also learned how to use quotes and how to site them. We learned the many ways to use quotes, and the few ways to site. We also learned about the new book we will start reading soon, the scottish tragedy, Macbeth. This seems like an alright book, but it is by Shakesspeare so it will be alittle hard to understand.
Week 1
During week 1, we learned many things. At first, we learned about our ISU project, for this project, we have to choose a book from the list provided on his website for the ENG 3UE course, then we must complete various assigments and an essay based on our book. Starting out, I choose the book Darkness at Noon, but then later learned this book was not to my liking, so I then switched to Watership Down which is a more interesting book. We then learned about our accountability agreement. For this class, we must produce an accountability agreement, from the template provied, this agreement will specifiy all the things we wish to achieve, contribute, and learn in the ENG 3UE course. After completing this, we learned about our blog site. During the whole course, we must create a blog site, and post a blog once a week, exlpaining our thoughts, achievements, and what we learned during this week. This is my first week, I have completed my site, and my accountability agreement is posted above.
